Q. Why do we use formaldehyde free fiberglass insulation?
A. Formaldehyde is mostly used in the process of embalming. Insulation with formaldehyde as the binding element that holds the insulation together has an odor. Formaldehyde free insulation uses an acrylic binder that is colorless and odorless. We only use formaldehyde free insulation, which means no formaldehyde fumes are released into your home or the atmosphere.
Q. Is it necessary to insulate more than the recommended R-Value for my area?
A. No it’s not necessary, but if you want to save a considerable amount of money on your heating and cooling bills, we recommend it!
The initial investment to upgrade your insulation to a higher R-Value will pay for itself very quickly. Energy prices will only increase, and the money you are saving on energy costs will continue to increase year after year.
Q. How do you get the best sound control possible in a particular cavity?
You get the best sound control in a cavity by filling the cavity with a high density product.
